Gold commitment rings say it all

The concept of people exchanging commitment rings to show their high regard for each other and their wish to have some token that will regularly bring to mind these feelings is not an invention of the twenty first century.

 

Although the commitment ring term is relatively new, rings of this type have been used way back in history.

True, at different periods they may be called friendship rings, pledge rings, fidelity rings or other similar names relating to the feelings they are meant to symbolize, but the basic idea behind all of these ring concepts is quite similar — giving gifts as a way of thanking the all important other person in one’s life for that very meaningful connection.
